2024 ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP 1/10

2024 ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP 1/10

2024 ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP 1/10
MARIGLIANO (NA)
9/12 May, 2024

The National Championship for the 1/10 category also took place in a single race at the beautiful Marigliano track near Naples. The circuit is particularly interesting and technical, with a surface that rapidly changes its grip depending on the weather conditions. Unfortunately, the number of participants was not high, possibly due to the rains of the previous days. Among those present, the most substantial group was formed by our customers, who were able to benefit from the support of our official drivers who attended the event. During the free and controlled practice sessions, the grip was poor, but thanks to the sunshine and rising temperatures, the grip quickly increased, allowing for faster lap times. The qualifying sessions took place in perfect weather conditions, allowing all participants to thoroughly enjoy this magnificent track. In the PRO category, the competition was among our champions, with Carmine securing the TQ ahead of Dario by a whisker, while in the Sport category, it was Ciro Borrelli who placed his IF15-2 in front of everyone.

On Sunday, after the recovery phases, we had three Infinity cars in the Sport final and three more in the PRO final. In the Sport category, Ciro made the difference by starting from pole and leaving no room for his competitors, also taking home the fastest lap. Fabio Cutolo, after winning the LCQ, placed just off the podium, while Filippo Bruno had to retire while leading an excellent race. In the PRO category, Carmine led from start to finish, managing his pace and taking no risks, followed by Dario who kept him in his sights, aiming for a coup until a few minutes before the end when an accident forced him to retire. Francesco Annunziata also had an excellent performance, finishing just off the podium with his INF1NITY.

Two more titles are added to the IF15-2 trophy case, but the greatest satisfaction comes from the enthusiasm and participation of our loyal customers in this event. See you soon on the European tracks!!!
