FUTABA TRACK - ICHIHARA (JP)
25-27/10/2024
Kouki Kato, successfully defended his Japanese JMRCA 1/8 Buggy national title with a victory at the Futaba Buggy Track in Ichihara, Chiba. The talented 18-year-old, who joined Infinity’s offroad program last July and recently won the final round of the Asian Buggy Championships in Indonesia, drove his IFB8 to first place in all four qualifying rounds, securing the overall TQ and a direct spot in the final. In the A-main, Kouki skillfully maintained his race pace, controlling the lead from the early stages, setting the fastest lap, and finishing with a 13-second margin over Sugiura and nearly a lap on Kaino. Shortly after its market debut, the IFB8 has proven to be a promising project, showcasing the dedicated development work by Infinity’s team and hinting at great potential for the future. Good job Kouki San!
