Dario Balestri added another success to his long list of victories winning the 1/8 European Championship in Vila Real. Good memories there as the Portugal big track was already theater of another great win for INF1NITY team when Teemu won 1/10 European title few years ago.
The IF18-2 drivers present at the track was fast and consistent all the weekend; many customers benefit of the help from official drivers to refine their setup.
From the beginning Dario was one of the fastest guys and obtained to bump directly in the final winning the Super Pole… Jilles, Francesco and Carmine complete the Infinity lineup for Amain with their results in semifinals.
At the start Dario overtake the poleman at the first corner and never looked back; superb driving and perfect strategy allowed a “tone to tone” lead… Few up&downs for the rest of our team: Carmine finished 5th, Francesco 6th and Jilles 7th reaching the checkered flag after very hard 45 minutes.
